Stress suffocates. Peace provides.
Life: peace, love, patience, comfort, confidence, power, wisdom, mercy, grace, forgiveness, humility, selflessness
Death: unforgiveness, hate, anger, fear, anxiety, regret, pride, selfishness
Relax. Take a deep breath. Remind yourself that life is much more than your job. Remind yourself that you are loved by your creator. Remind yourself that all things in this world are temporary. Remind yourself that you are a work in progress. Do not condemn yourself for your failures. Let yesterday be yesterday, and today today. View your failures and mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow. It’s no big deal. Move forward. Breath. Smile. Take a break. Laugh. Lay your burdens at the foot of the cross. Allow Jesus to carry you through. Allow Jesus to comfort you, teach you, give you peace, confidence, courage, and strength. Allow the Word of God to be your wisdom. If you know an obstacle is coming, do not be afraid. Your God is with you at all times. Failure is not death. Mistakes do not change who you are. Mistakes are not a reflection of who you are. You are who God says you are, not matter what. As your enemies tear you down with their words and actions, remind yourself of how God sees you. Don’t think you have to know everything. Don’t think you have to be perfect in all that you do. But in all things, especially your mistakes and failures, do always with the peace, confidence, courage, wisdom, love, patience, strength, and power given you by God through Jesus. It’s okay to fail. It’s okay to make mistakes. Get up. Move on. Pray and read. Fellowship with brothers and sisters.
Remind yourself of what you love about life. Remind yourself of your wife. Remind yourself of your dreams. Remind yourself of your visions. Remind yourself of your friends. Remind yourself of your hobbies and talents. Remind yourself of God’s words spoken over your life. Remind yourself that you are called to be a mighty man of God. Remind yourself that you’ve been called to the music ministry. Rejoice in trials and tribulations.
Do not allow pressure, fear, or anxiety to dictate your thoughts or actions. This is not from God. God does not induce pressure, fear, or anxiety. God gives grace, mercy, love, patience, confidence, courage, power, strength, wisdom, light, and life. Anytime any of those things which God gives us is compromised, we must recognize it, remind ourselves of what God promises, declare it, and thank God for it. Most importantly, we must not do this out of pressure, fear, or anxiety, but with joy, confidence, courage, power, strength, wisdom, light, life, and patience for God is with you.
Easier said than done? Absolutely! That’s the beauty of it. God promises that our words have an impact. As we claim and declare God’s promises, our lives will be impacted accordingly. Remind yourself of these things several times every day. You will experience a positive change in your life.
I will experience a positive change in my life. Thank you, Lord, for the positive change I’ve already experienced in my life. Pressure, fear, anxiety, stress, all have no place in my life. You are my light, life, joy, strength, courage, confidence, peace, patience, wisdom, and power. Anything that tries to fight that is darkness. Darkness has no place where there is light. Thank you for being my light, Lord.
